MASTER JOHN DARCY TO TEST FOR 7TH DEGREE AT A.I.M.A.A INTERNATIONAL TESTING ON THE 19TH OF SEPTEMBER 2009

It is with great pride and honour that we announce the forthcoming International testing of our own European Director, Master John Darcy.  Master Darcy is a formidable exponent of the martial arts and the backbone of A.I.M.A.A in Europe, were he oversees its development and growth.  A.I.M.A.A Ireland are proud of their leader and look forward to seeing him test under Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and the A.I.M.A.A Masters in Dublin this September. 

The International testing closing date for applications is the 14th of August. If you are testing please ensure your application is handed to your Instructor in plenty of time to make its way to the European Headquarters.

A.I.M.A.A SUMMER CAMP 2010 INFORMATION

Start planning now for an experience you will not forget.

This "Summer Camp" will be like no other as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of A.I.M.A.A and our Grandmasters 70th Birthday in the sunshine city of Washington DC.  You will undertake classes with A.I.M.A.A. Masters, International Instructors and guest Instructors.

Camp location: Trinity College which is a beautiful college situated in downtown Washington.  It is up to you where you stay in Washington DC as the capital offers hotels ranging from £69 per night for a family of four to £150 per night for a 4* hotel.

The Camp Dates: 12th to the 16th July 2010. Start time is at 8am until 12noon each day, with the exception of the Friday we will be gathering for a celebration. Your afternoons will be freed up for you to sightsee and enjoy what this fantastic city ahs to offer in recreation!

The International Testing in Washington DC will be on the 11th of July 2010. If you are planning to test in Washington then please speak to your Instructor now and ensure you know what is required of you.

MASTER AMERIS TO TEST FOR 8TH DEGREE AT SUMMER CAMP

Master Phillip Ameris will be testing for 8th Degree at the International Testing in Washington DC in July 2010.

This will be the first time a Master within A.I.M.A.A has undertook this testing at this level and this testing will be history in the making.

All of A.I.M.A.A Scotland wish him the very best with his training and we cannot wait to see him in action next year in summer camp. What a camp this will be with all the celebrations of the 30th Anniversary of A.I.M.A.A, Grandmaster Cho's birthday and of course the gathering of all our A.I.M.A.A family members worldwide.

A.I.M.A.A EUROPEAN SUMMER CAMP

The first ever European Summer camp took place on the beautiful island of Jersey under the guidance of A.I.M.A.A European Director, Master John Darcy and A.I.M.A.A Ireland Director Master Peter Byrne.

A.I.M.A.A FULL CONTACT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS DUBLIN 2010

We are pleased to announce that Master John Darcy and Mr Paul Healy will be holding the first ever Full-Contact World Championships in 2010. All details of thee vent will be available soon, as will location, rules and weight divisions. This event is only open to all A.I.M.A.A members worldwide, and is not an open event. We look forward to the first ever A.I.M.A.A World Championships in 2010 and to seeing all the young hopefuls taking to the ring.

A.I.M.A.A EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD IN SCOTLAND - MAY 2010

Master John Kirkwood will be hosting the first A.I.M.A.A European Championships in Scotland in May 2010. This event will be invitational and pre-registered entries.
